Bradninch & Hele Support Fund

Funded by money from Bradninch Parochial Charities, the Bradninch Town Trust is delighted to announce a new support fund for people living in the parish of Bradninch, which includes Hele.

This fund supersedes any previous funds run by Bradninch Town Trust and Bradninch Parochial Charities, including the previous education grants and annual Christmas grants to widows.

How does it work?

We are able to give grants of up to £150 per calendar year per household for people in need in the parish of Bradninch.

Grants are available to people who are facing difficult financial times to whom a grant would make a difference.

Grants can be spent on items such as utility bills, food, clothing, furniture, white goods and other basic essentials.

We ask that in your application you simply state what help you are looking for from the fund and why.

You can apply more than once in a year, but the total money given in a calendar year can’t exceed £150 per household, as we have a limited pot of funds to spend each year.

How do I make an application?

You can make an application using our short online form by clicking here.

If you need a paper copy of the form, please call 01392 241123 or email grants@bradninchtt.org.uk.

Applications can be made on your behalf by family or carers if you are unable to apply yourself.

Applications will be assessed monthly by a sub committee of Trustees from Bradninch Town Trust. Information from applicants will be kept confidential within this committee and in line with our Confidentiality and Data Protection Policy.

Please complete applications by the end of each month. You will be notified if you have been awarded a grant by the 14th of the following month.  If awarded, we will contact you to check your bank detail. Grants will then be paid directly into your bank account.

If you need help in an emergency

The fund is run by a team of volunteers. We therefore can’t guarantee applications will be reviewed more frequently than once a month. Please do get in touch if you need help sooner than the next month. If we can help, we will.
